Running has been a consistent part of my life for several years now and has greatly contributed to both my physical and spiritual well-being. Engaging in the discipline of training for a race is much like living a life in Christ – there are struggles and challenges, but it is filled with great joy. I have been blessed with the opportunity to train for and to finish two marathons in the last two years - my first one in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2011, in support of the IOCC; and the second one in Washington DC in 2012, in support of the Ukrainian Orphanages. This year, I hope to run strong in the Baltimore Half Marathon in October and the Richmond Half Marathon in November! The IOCC has provided generously to those in our world who are in great need by being a good steward of the gifts it has received. In like manner, I hope to use the gifts of running ability and love for the sport to support the IOCC's efforts in loving and providing for our neighbors in need. I hope that you can support my race to the finish line in the Baltimore Running Festival's Half Marathon by giving to IOCC's "Race to Respond." Thank you for your charitable donation and your prayers to fight the good fight and to finish the race that is set before us!
